Summary[edit] Description: I took this shot late in the afternoon as the cranes were departing the little pond at the north end of Bosque del Apache for the night. This was taken with the Sony RX10-iv point-and-shoot, handheld, at a long lens setting of 560 mm (full frame equivalent). The slow shutter speed allowed for some blur in the wings as I panned along with the bird. I feel a certain smugness that the boys and girls with their $10k+ rigs mounted on tripods probably couldn't have gotten this shot. Edit: I just saw a similar shot posted by Barbara am Ende.
