Description: Aphomia baryptera (Lower, 1901), to MV light, Aranda, ACT, 26/27 November 2010 Most specimens in ANIC have the mid-region of the forewing darker than the base and apex (i.e. the reverse of this individual), as in the images for this species at the Barcode of Life Database, but a few (from NSW) show the same pattern as this individual.
