Description:

Two Western Atlantic seashells of Melongenidae family: Pugilina tupiniquim Abbate & Simone, 2015[1] and Melongena corona (Gmelin, 1791)[2]; both are found in mangroves and estuarine regions from the Gulf of Mexico (the second species) to the north and east coast of South America (the first species).
