Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Galerita sp. Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC, USA. I see these awesome beetles all the time, but they are super quick and usually long gone by the time I get my camera into position. This one was probably a bit slower than usual on this cool, rainy afternoon. But I still had to harass it badly to get it to stay on top of the log long enough to get in a few quick shots.
