Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: I early summer, the Hinlopen strait at the archipelago of Svalbard often still is filled with dense drift ice. This gives the female polar bears who give birth to their cubs on Barentsøya or Edgeøya the chance to reach the northern pack ice regions with plenty of preys in due time.
