Summary[edit] Description: Production of pyoverdin, water-soluble green-yellow fluorescent pigment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Ps. aeruginosa cultured on NAC soft agar medium. The aerobic bacteria grow only on the surface of the medium (forming whitish biofilm) , and fluorescent pigment diffuses down (observed under black light). Date: 31 March 2006. Source: Own work.
