Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Vicia americana belongs to a large group of legumes (tribe Vicieae, Trifolieae, and relatives) that seem to prefer disturbance-prone settings such as found along roadsides. Along the seldom-used two-track roads, Vicia americana can be found somewhat commonly but rarely does this species penetrate the undisturbed (including burned but previously undisturbed) sagebrush steppe.
