Summary[edit] Description: Warm and windy blows them in Last night was warm and quite blustery with showers through the night but it didn't see to put the moths off as there were at least 100 moths in and around the trap of 28 species which is about average for this time of year in my garden on a warm night. Another Rosy Rustic was nice to see, only my second so far this year and Tachystola acroxantha second brood turned up also, an adventive species from Australia that seems to be very well established in my garden with 5 or 6 records per year now. 2 new for year species were the stunning Frosted Orange and the rarely recorded Monopis laevigella, in fact it's strange because i've never recorded weaverella in my garden but it is common for me out on moth trips and laevigella out in the field rarely turns up.
