Description:
Summary[edit] Description: First flowers on this shrub grown from Chiltern's seed some years ago. I only got the one seedling, but if i'd resown as i do these days I might have got more. 'Resown'? Not as strange as it sounds - I've always sown seed in a layer of grit and sand on top of the compost so if i get sporadic germination it's easy to pour this mix off, prick out the seedlings and resow the sand/grit/seeds mix on fresh compost. If I'd done that I might have more than one plant now. Date: 13 April 2013, 09:37. Source: Chaenomeles cathayensis. Author: peganum from Small Dole, England.
