Summary[edit] Description: English: This image depicted a close view of a Petri dish culture plate that contained a growth medium of brain heart infusion (BHI) agar, which had been inoculated with Actinomyces parabifidus, also known as Bifidobacterium bifidum, bacteria, and after having undergone a 42–72hr incubation period, gave rise to dewdrop type bacterial colonies.
