Summary[edit] Description: English: Spiked shieldbug, Picromerus bidens (Linnaeus, 1758). Common shield bug in Latvia. This example was found in Līči village, Rīga region. This is predatory species, that feeds on lepidopteran, beetle and other larvae, and some other elder instars. This one feeds on lepidopteran larva.
