Catching up with catches. The prequel.. A flipping huge catch last Monday night, apologies for being a week behind but time seems to run away with me during peak moth season with photos to take, edit and then the list to type up. This catch was just prior to the previous post about the fantastic night's trapping on the farm. For my garden this amount of moths was brilliant with loads of new moths for the year list. Best of all there were two new species for my garden, namely Epiblema costipunctana, a fairly common Tortrix moth that I use to catch on the farm regularly. The other was Eana incanana, another good species and one i've trapped before on the farm also. Not content with one, I trapped another on Friday night! Happy mothing everyone!
