Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Ptarmigan on Carn an Tuirc. Ptarmigan are the only birds to live all year round at this altitude. When still they are almost invisible among the stones. I saw one of these three, but didn't notice the other two until I looked at the picture. Date: 3 November 2007. Source: From geograph.org.uk. Author: Rob Burke.
