Summary[edit] Description: English: Figure Description: "Dorsal aspect photomicrograph of holotype female of Astreptolabis ethirosomatia gen. et sp. n. (AMNH Bu-FB20). In this orientation the head is slightly dipped forward making the postocular area appear minutely foreshortened relative to the compound eyes." Holotype specimen of Earwig Astreptolabis ethirosomatia from Burmese amber, Hukawng Valley, earliest Cenomanian (99ma). Part of the Collecions of the American Museum of Natural History.
