Description:
Description: Mimulus guttatus — Seep monkeyflower, Common Yellow Monkey Flower At the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden, in Claremont, California. "The story behind this flower's common name is that it is said that if you look into the center of the flower you can see the face of a monkey. I have been looking at these for at least twenty years and have yet to see it. However, people under nine years of age (and those young at heart) seem to have no problem.".
