Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Old larva skin around left pupal case, beside the newly emerged adult stage of Exochomus quadripustulatus (Common name: Pine ladybird, synonym: Brumus quadripustulatus). Head, pronotum (neck shield) and elytra (wing-cases, wing covers) do not show the final colour yet. The colouring will take several hours. Clearly visible are the already darker head and pronotum, because they colourize faster. The pronotum is uniformly coloured, hence it will not show any dots when finally coloured. Photos taken: 2013-07-24, Westphalia, Germany. Fotos aufgenommen: 2013-07-24, Westfalen, Deutschland. Date: 18 October 2013, 00:30:19.
