Summary[edit] Description: English: Red spider lily ( Latin name: Lycoris radiata ; 日本語 | 曼珠沙華 ( Manjushage), ヒガンバナ (Higanbana); also known as Red magic lily, Hurricane lily, Equinox flower, Resurrection lily) is a bulbous perennial plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae. It normally flowers before the leaves fully appear. The leaves are parallel-sided with a paler central stripe. The red flowers arranged in umbels.
