Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: A visible sign of global warming? Some 50 - 100 m above the treeline in the mountains in Nordland county in North Norway, young downy birch (Betula pubescens) trees have gained a foothold. There were no signs of birch trees growing here earlier (no standing trees, no sign of dead trees). Date: 28 July 2009. Source: Own work. Author: Orcaborealis.
