Summary[edit] Description: English: A fruit body of the bolete fungus Tylopilus badiceps (Peck) A.H. Sm. & Thiers. Photographed in Beaver Creek State Forest, East Liverpool, Ohio, USA. "Notes: Mild tasting, under oak, beech and hemlock. Fits this species well macroscopically but does not have the macrochemical reactions as given in Bessette & Roody. The mostly negative reactions do not fit any of the mild tasting Tylopilus species. Spore print light brown.". Date: 18 August 2012.
