Summary[edit] Description: A native thistle very similar to Cirsium undulatum but the leaves have a green upper surface that contrasts to the white-woolly under surface and the growth habit is rhizomatous rather than of solitary individuals (note the cluster of rosettes in a linear array extending from the tall flowering stem).
