Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Rhaponticum repens - The Russian Knapweed is an invasive species that has invaded pastures, degraded croplands, rangeland, roadsides, riparian areas, and irrigation ditches in New Mexico. Invasive species are organisms that are non-native to an ecosystem and whose introduction causes economic, social, or environmental harm. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) is actively engaged in the battle against invasive species through leadership, grant opportunities, and collaboration with partners.
