Summary[edit] Description: English: This is a close view of an uncommon terrestrial orchid, Habenaria amplifolia, unique to Raroronga (Cook Islands) but related to species in Tahiti and Fiji (Sykes 2016). It is seen here in forest above the Water Intake in the Avana Valley in October 2005. Note the very long spur. See adjacent image for an overview. Scanned Kodachrome slide 044-050.
