Description: Anthomyia procellaris Róndani, 1866, female, to Robinson trap, Søborg, Denmark, 28/29 July 2014 Poor lateral photograph (see here) shows the lateral dorsal spot is confluent with the black spot at the wing base. According to Michelsen, [doi.org/10.1111/j.1365-3113.1980.tb00416.x The Anthomyia pluvialis complex in Europe (Diptera, Anthomyiidae)], these confluent spots and the fact that the median grey area on the scutellum continues to the base identify this as A. procellaris.
