Phloeoxena -3 (28181574400)
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Phloeoxena signata. Rock Creek Park, Washington, DC, USA. This one was running on the bark of a living tulip poplar, Liriodendron tulipifera. There was another one on the same tree and I saw an additional specimen a little further down the trail. I think these "rare" beetles are actually quite common in Rock Creek Park.
