Description: English: A male specimen of the Crested Newt, Triturus cristatus, short after the end of the breeding period (morphologically between water- and land phase). Whole body length: about 11 cm. Deutsch: Ein Männchen des Kammmolches (Triturus cristatus) nach der Laichzeit. Es befand sich noch im Gewässer und bildet gerade die Wassertracht allmählich wieder zur Landtracht um. Noch sind kleine Ansätze des Rückenkamms und der Schwanzflossensäume zu erkennen.
