Description: Proteuxoa sanguinipuncta (Guenée, 1852), to MV light, Aranda, ACT, 31 December 2008/ 1 January 2009 Differs from Proteuxoa rubripuncta particularly because 1) much browner; 2) cross-lines on forewing prominent; 3) thorax strongly marked; 4) orbicular stigma with red border; and 5) reniform stigma with up to three red dots including two aligned along width of wing.
