Two blue jellyfishes in Brofjorden at Sandvik 4
Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Two bluefire jellyfishes (Cyanea lamarckii) in Brofjorden at Sandvik, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. The jellies at this photo shoot were about 6-12 cm in diameter. The blue jellies are streamlined when contracted, and that makes them more agile, quicker and faster swimmers than Cyanea capillata and Aurelia aurita. In the photo are strands of sea lace algae (Chorda filum). Date: 24 June 2021, 19:11:42. Source: Own work. Author: W.carter.
