Summary[edit] Description: Pluteus cervinus on a grassy roadside patch near St. Chéron, France. Date: 17 August 2007. Source: Own work. Author: User:Strobilomyces. Notes on identification[edit] Apparently in grass. Perhaps there were wood remains under the grass. Gill margins not differently coloured. Cap skin covered in dark fibres. Microscopic examination showed that the cap skin was filamentous. Prominent pleurocystidia with crystalline secretions and hooks at top.
