Description:
Summary[edit] Description: English: Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) needles probably attacked by a fungal pathogen (maybe the Swiss Needle Cast, Phaeocryptopus gaeumannii). Reddish needles could also be caused by physiological problems. These symptoms should not be confounded with galls caused by the Douglas fir needles gall midge (Contarinia pseudotsugae s.l.)
