Description:
Summary[edit] Description: Kangaroo Grass growing on the edge of the Old Hume Highway, 50m south of Balaclava St intersection, Willow Vale (which is 3km north east from the centre of Mittagong, NSW, 2575). Substrate was a graded gravelly artificial bank. Site was at the edge of a disturbed stringy bark forest, with Dactylis glomerata, Rytidosperma and Themeda triandra (greater than 100 plants). Kangaroo Grass was erect, 95 cm tall and pulled up easily. Tubercle-based hairs on each glume were abundant. Date: 18 December 2010, 15:42. Source: Themeda triandra with tubercle-hairs31.
